Every year, Las Sendas Elementary creates an incredible yearbook showcasing all of the fun and memorable moments throughout the school year. One of the coolest yearbook traditions here at LSE is that the cover is always done by a sixth grader!
And this year, it’s your turn!
ALL 6TH GRADERS are welcome and encouraged to submit a cover drawing! Whether you think you are an artist or not, give it a go! All entries are welcome and will be showcased in a special section in the yearbook.
Turn your entries into the office. The PTO will hold an online vote to be submitted by the end of the day Friday, January 17.
Entries will be available for viewing on the PTO website www.lspto.org. The drawing with the most votes will be our 2024–2025 yearbook cover and the artist will receive a free yearbook! Second place will win the back cover and third place, the title page.
Submissions must be on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper, vertical orientation.
Your cover should include our school name Las Sendas Elementary and the school year 2024–2025. You can add other wording as well, but be sure to check your spelling!
Use whatever medium you like best, paints, markers, watercolor, pencils, crayons, digital, etc.
Be sure to include your name and your teachers name on the back of your entry so we know who you are!
One entry per person please.
Yes, you can work with another student or students! Just be sure to include all of the artists’ names on the back of your artwork.
That’s it! The rest is up to you! We’ve heard this is a pretty special group of 6th graders and we can’t wait to see the fantastic yearbook covers you create.
