I retired at the end of last year after 23 years as a proud educator with Mesa Public Schools, including 11 years as a junior high science teacher. Education has always been a central part of my family’s life. In addition to my two daughters who are present and previous students at LSE, I have two older children who also attended Mesa Public Schools, and I am the proud grandparent of four grandchildren. My wife is a fifth-grade teacher at LSE, so our family remains deeply connected to the school community and committed to supporting students and educators.

Entertainer and music producer, Wes Quave has spent more than 30 years out of Los Angeles, producing live entertainment and performing around the world. As a singer, DJ, and emcee, he is known for creating high-energy, family-friendly experiences that keep dance floors packed.
Throughout his career, Wes and his company, Live 61, have performed alongside many legendary artists and continue to serve as the backing band for more than 60 well known celebrities.
Today, Wes, and his family proudly call Mesa home. As Vice President of Events for Las Sendas Elementary, he is passionate about creating incredible experiences that strengthen the school community, encourage family involvement, and make every child feel celebrated.

I am Abby Donahue. This will be my third year of fundraising. I have two kids, Michael in 6th grade and Emma in 3nd grade. We have been at the school going on four years. We love Las Sendas Elementary. We love to travel and we also love Disney. Looking forward to another great year!

Hi! I'm Cindy Sroufe , and we've been part of the LSE community for 7 years, since my daughter, Jane, started kindergarten. She’s now in 6th grade and part of both the enrichment and gifted & talented classes.

In my free time, I enjoy watching Japanese dramas, sipping Yerba Mate tea, and going to any professional sports games. I love the energy and excitement of live events!
